They may not have grabbed a podium, but the experience was still one for the books.

The two joined James Darrel Orduna who ruled the men’s 10-kilometer race, Lany Adaog, Kristine Santillan, and Jennelyn Nidoy as Pinoy reps in the Lazada event.

Apart from the event, the two also managed to squeeze in a trip to the famous tourist spots in Singapore. They call this opportunity a ‘fruit’ of their hard work.

    Running as the game changer

Both five years into running, the two shared that results came quick in both their fitness and lifestyle.

Polillo also gets to join a couple of running events whenever he gets an invite or a treat from his colleagues and some community members.

Meanwhile, Avila considers running as his hobby to keep himself fit at age 40.

“Healthier talaga simula nung tumakbo ako kasi magaan, nakaka-relax at nakakawala ng stress sa trabaho,” he shared.

He also bared that it has helped him do the rounds at work.

Minsan lang kasi kami mag-elevator, madalas stairs talaga pag nagra-rounds,” he explained.
