A lot of people, non-Chinese included, believe in the guidance of Feng Shui.
San Miguel star Arwind Santos is one of them as he considers the energy and luck from feng shui help him become more successful in his career and personal life.
After SMB’s, 121-111, win over NLEX Santos wore a bright yellow hoodie, socks and shoes to complete the vivid attire.
SPIN Life caught up with the Pampanga native and he shared the reason for his getup.
“Ngayon kasi sa feng shui, ‘yung yellow [maswerte] daw kaya ako naka-yellow ngayon,” he revealed.
Aside from the color yellow, Santos shares that he still believes that the neon green is still one of his lucky charms every game, something that he started to believe during his college career at Far Eastern University.

Even though the PBA’s Spiderman believes in feng shui and lucky charms, he noted that God is still the center of whatever he does which is why he explained the reason as to why he looks and points his finger up every time he gets to score a point.
“Para sa Diyos ‘yun kasi lahat naman ng ginagawa ko, para sa kanya,” Santos expressed.
Growing up with his family in the province, Santos knew how difficult it is to provide the needs of the family especially when his father died in 2001, making him the family’s breadwinner who rides the pedicab for a living.
“From scratch din ako. Kaya ako nakarating dito dahil sa Kanya [kay Lord],” he said.
Before games, aside from his usual rituals of praying and sporting the neon green, Santos also shared some of his routine that he does a day before a game.
“Kailangan maganda tulog mo, nakapagpahinga ka ng maayos para maganda yung laro mo,” he said.
