SAN DIEGO Comic-Con, or SDCC, is normally a paid weekend affair, where comic book and movie fans all over the world convene to get first dibs on trailers and meet the stars of their favorite sci-fi, superhero, or fantasy properties.

But 2020 is not a normal year. So SDCC is being livestreamed straight to your house.

Here are the best clips from the first night of SDCC At Home.

First off, The Boys. The best superhero show you’re not watching gears up for its upcoming Season 2 release with this hilarious clip from their battle with a guy whose superpower is talking to fish. Karl Urban returns as Billy Butcher, leader of a vigorously profane anti-superhero squad — and wouldn’t you be one of the Boys, too, if you find out that all the superheroes in your world are giant a--holes?

Next, The New Mutants. The latest X-Men movie seems to be suffering from a terrible curse. Originally supposed to be released in 2018, it was delayed again, and again, and now, because of coronavirus, yet again. In their SDCC panel, the cast and crew make light of the situation, and bring you the first two minutes of the actual movie.

If you’re looking for more Star Trek, get ready for Star Trek: Lower Decks, a comedic take on an interstellar bridge crew. Yes, it’s Star Trek as a cartoon. Some good jokes on this clip, too, so we're keeping an eye on it.

HBO’s His Dark Materials is up for a season two, so they’ve dropped a new trailer for the world-hopping sci-fi series.

If you liked Shaun of the Dead or The World’s End, creators Nick Frost and Simon Pegg have teamed up once again. This time, they made a TV show satirizing ghost hunters called Truth Seekers, which will drop on Amazon Prime. Catch the teaser below:

A viral pandemic! Guys in masks! Crazy conspiracies! No, it’s not 2020, but it’s Utopia, an upcoming new Amazon Prime series about a sinister comic book that seems to be dictating the course of humanity. It’s a remake of a classic British show, so expectations are high for this trippy new show.
