JIMMY Alapag, former Gilas Pilipinas team captain, head coach of San Miguel Alab Pilipinas, assistant coach of San Miguel, and member of the FIBA Players Commission, apparently doesn't call the shots at home.
As it turns out, that privilege belongs to his adorable four-year-old daughter Keona Skye, who, with hardly any effort, can get her dad to sing on her command.
Their latest dad-daughter duet, which the Mighty Mouse posted recently, was a hit among the 2011 PBA MVP's followers, who not only marveled at Keona Skye's cuteness but also praised the coach's vocal styling.
As one of his followers puts it, "better than all your basketball highlights idol."
Jimmy and Keona Skye sang along to "Speechless," an inspirational anthem performed by actress Naomi Scott, who played Princess Jasmine in the 2019 hit live-action adaptation of Disney classic, Aladdin.
The song, according to Jimmy, is Keona Skye's current favorite from the original soundtrack of the film. It seems to us that he may have found his new go-to song in many a karaoke party to come.
