James Yap says he is so impressed with how his Toby's photos came out that he is now open to do similar poses for magazines and other advertising campaigns. He is also willing to go sexy in movies - so long as it is in good taste, the two-time PBA MVP add

DON'T be surprised if you see ‘provocative’ pictures of James Yap in your favorite malls in the next few weeks.

Yap, Azkals goalkeeper Neil Etheridge and De La Salle volleyball star Michele Gumabao have been tapped to display their well-chiseled bodies as models of a bold ad campaign by top sports apparel store Toby's.

So far, only the nude photos of Etheridge and Gumabao have been released - and both have caused quite a splash on social networking sites - while a photo of a half-naked Yap now graces the extrance of Toby's outlets in different malls in Metro Manila.

Yap said more photos are set to be released in the coming weeks.

“Merun ako niyan. Hindi pa nilalabas. Surprise yun," said Yap when asked by Spin.ph about the photos. “Marami yun eh. Hindi ko na matandaan kung ano-ano 'yung pose.”

Asked if his soon-to-be-released ad campaign include nude photos of him, the soft-spoken Escalante, Negros Occidental pride declared: “Oo meron. Nag-imagine ka bigla noh?” before bursting into laughter.

He continued: “Hindi wala akong ganoon (nude photos), hindi ako pumayag. Syempre, medyo ano eh. Hindi ko kaya."

The two-time PBA MVP said he liked the concept of the photos, which will also be carried in Toby’s paperbags. That was the reason he said yes to the project, Yap added.

“Maganda naman ang concept kaya ko tinanggap," Yap said. "Hindi naman bastusin, saka hindi naman hubad talaga.”

Yap said he was so impressed with how his photos came out that he is now open to do similar poses for magazines and other advertising campaigns.

“Why not kung meron di ba? Basta’t hindi bastos. Yang sa Toby’s kasi napapayag lang ako kasi maganda ang concept,” he said.

How about going sexy in movies? Yap surprisingly said yes.

“Basta’t maganda yung role, in good taste ang shots at maayos ang kakalabasan, okay ako!” he said.
