DECEMBER 14 will be a hectic day for Smart Araneta Coliseum, as the UAAP and the NCAA have apparently both scheduled their finals games on the same day.
Both leagues have released their championship schedules, with the Big Dome being earmarked for the same day.

The NCAA Season 100 Game Three, if necessary, between Mapua and Benilde is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Game Three of the UAAP Season 87 championship series between La Salle and the University of the Philippines, if the series goes the distance, is set for 5:30 p.m. of the same day.

Both leagues have yet to issue a clarification on the matter, although SPIN.ph sources said that the UAAP holds the permit for the said date.
However, another source shared that the calendar inside the Araneta Coliseum management office indicates that the NCAA will have the Dec. 14 playdate, while the UAAP will have the Big Dome for Dec. 15.
