ASIDE from the teams, the PBA's television broadcast will also go retro on the 50th anniversary game day.
SPIN.ph learned that Sports5 will present graphics on their Wednesday coverage of the 49th Season Philippine Cup that will have similar elements to the TV broadcast of the PBA during its early days.

The last time a similar presentation was made in a broadcast was during the reunion game between Toyota and Crispa in May 30, 2003 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Reigning champion Meralco battles San Miguel in a rematch of the 2024 Philippine Cup Finals on Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. at the historic Rizal Memorial Coliseum, with the teams wearing retro jerseys.
Ticket prices have also been lowered for the 50th anniversary match-up to P50 in the lower box section and P30 for the general admission for the game day.
Fans born in 1975 will also be given free admission to the games.
The first game will feature Magnolia and Converge at 5 p.m.
The April 9 match is just one of the events to commemorate the 50th year of the league. A gala night will be held on April 11 at Solaire North to commemorate the 50 Greatest Players of the PBA, with 10 new additions to be honored.
The league's 50th season will have a bigger celebration when it begins in October.
