Not even a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, 113-109, on the night that the San Antonio Spurs retired Tony Parker's jersey can take away from this historic occasion in franchise history.

The team hanging the French-American point guard's No. 9 from the rafters of the AT&T Center officially immortalized all members of the Spurs' vaunted Big Three, alongside Tim Duncan's No. 21 and Manu Ginobili's No. 20. It also made him the 10th player after the likes of David Robinson and George Gervin to be honored in such way by the storied organization.

Drafted 28th overall in 2001, Parker spent his first 17 years in San Antonio and was instrumental in four of the club's five NBA championships (2003, 2005, 2007, 2014). The 2007 Finals MVP, six-time All-Star hung it up after a lone season with the Charlotte Hornets.

The ceremony was attended by TP's family, Duncan, Ginobili, and head coach Gregg Popovich, among other former teammates and executives.

Any time you bring those Spurs greats together is truly an emotional sight, and the jersey retirement ceremony was no different. Only some moments turned out to be more special than the rest:
