A TRIP to the Ynares Center may be quite a hassle for basketbal fans from Metro Manila, but here's one incentive to make the trip to Antipolo.
The Rizal government has opened the Ynares Tiangge at the provincial capitol grounds in Antipolo City just as the Ynares Center gets ready to host key basketball games both in the PBA and the UAAP.
This Friday, the Antipolo venue will play host to another PBA doubleheader. The Ynares Center will also hold the first set of UAAP out-of-town games on November 3 and 4 with all eight schools seeing action.
Now on its 16th year, the tiangge lends a festive atmosphere to the capitol premises, giving sports fans a chance to do their early Christmas shopping.
A wide variety of products are on sale at cheap prices, from clothing to accessories to toys. Kids can also enjoy a variety of rides located inside the area.
Another treat for fans is the wide range of food available inside the tiangge — from buy-one, take-one footlong hotdog sandwiches to native fare like puto bumbong , bibingka, goto and lomi.
Hungry yet? Let's go.
