FATE HAS always been cruel to Onic Philippines.
From the time it entered the scene back in Season 4, the team has managed to reach the grand finals of the MPL Philippines thrice in history, only to stumble at the very end each time. During the M3 World Championship, it seemed Onic would finally end its trophiless curse only for Blacklist International to deny it in the grand finale.

This was followed by rebuilding seasons marked by an early playoff exit, which further worsened when the super team of Season 13 stumbled in their quest to finally claim the trophy. It seemed the team was fated to fail. But when the 'super team' decided to transform into the 'super family,' things started to spiral upward.
Together, these band of nobodies and forgotten icons pushed through against all odds and became champions, both in the local MLBB scene, and in the world.
For their triumphant end in 2024, Fnatic ONIC Philippines is SPIN.ph's Ssports Team of the Year for 2024.
