THE SAN Miguel Beermen avoided a sweep at the hands of Bay Area, with Simon Enciso sending a trey down the Dragons’ way to keep SMB alive 10 seconds before the whistle in Game 3 of their semifinals series. SMB then held their ground and fought off the PBA guest team to take the thrilling win, 98-96.
In those tense final seconds, cheers for Barangay Ginebra could be heard echoing to the rafters of the Philsports Arena.
Ginebra is scheduled to play their own Game 3 against Magnolia right after the SMB-Bay Area faceoff.
On Twitter, PBA fans chuckled over the Gin Kings cheering. Others, however, were not so happy about what they heard.
Excited much?
Ginebra chants in bad taste?
