A gold medal last month, a gold ring this month.

The engagement caps off a memorable stretch for the 29-year-old volleyball icon, who closed 2025 by helping deliver a historic breakthrough for Philippine beach volleyball.

Rondina, alongside Bernadeth Pons, Dij Rodriguez, and Sunny Villapando, powered Alas Beach Women to the country’s first-ever SEA Games beach volleyball gold medal, dethroning long-time regional powerhouse Thailand in the process.

Rondina returns

Now entering 2026 on a personal high, Rondina is set to shift her focus back to indoor volleyball, preparing for her much-anticipated return to the PVL with Choco Mucho.

She sat out nearly a full year of club action to fully commit to the national team’s SEA Games campaign.

With the Flying Titans, Rondina is expected to reunite not only with familiar faces, but also with former University of Santo Tomas teammates Eya Laure, Alina Bicar, and Caitlin Viray, as she looks to carry both momentum and joy from a life-changing year into the next chapter of her career.
