BOCAUE, Bulacan — Sharon Cuneta paid no attention when some netizens made fun of her after she was announced as the muse for Magnolia in the opening of the 44th Season of the PBA.
Wearing the Hotshots’ colors, Cuneta paraded a classic pair of blue blazer and pants as every Magnolia player asked for a selfie or a groufie with her on Sunday at the Philippine Arena.
A handful of reporters patiently waited for Cuneta after the opening ceremonies and the Megastar gladly granted an interview.
“Nothing, they [bashers] don’t mean anything to me,” she said. “Because I’m the one that’s here.”
“I was chosen by Magnolia, I didn’t volunteer,” she added. “I’m their major endorser, I think that’s understandable.”
Cuneta, who was one of the most anticipated muses, last represented a team in the PBA in the 90’s and coincidentally it was also with the Purefoods franchise.
