HE put up his dream house for his family, but Scottie Thompson also designed it in a way that allows him to still put in the work during the PBA offseason.
Among the highlights of a six-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion the Barangay Ginebra star guard built in a 600-square meter lot in his native Digos City is a basketball half-court that can be accessed via special passageway from his bedroom.
The court didn't come cheap, designed with a wooden flooring and a standard ring. Right next to it is a fitness gym where the former Perpetual star can lift weights.
Thompson gave SPIN.ph a peek at his playground, sharing a couple of photos of him and relatives, friends, and barbershop workers playing on the court, barefoot.

“May basketball court, talagang hindi mawawala,” Thompson said. “May weights room din, kasi pag uuwi ako dun bakasyon, syempre gusto ko makapagpa-kundisyon pa rin kahit papaano.”
Ball is life indeed for the Ginebra rebounding demon.
