San Francisco mayor London Breed has also declared Aug. 28 as Sarina Bolden Day in the city. Bolden was born in Santa Clara, California,
San Francisco recording artist Tracy Cruz will sing the US national anthem, and Harley Pullen will be the ‘Play Girl Kid.’

“I am excited to return back home and celebrate the success of our national team with all our kababayans,” Bolden said in a statement. “I am also looking forward to throwing out the first pitch at the San Francisco Giants game and participating in Filipino Heritage Night. Seeing our community come together, with events like this, shows the importance of unity and that representation matters.”
“Sarina has had an aggressive travel schedule over the past month with trips to and from Manila and Australia," said FilAmSports.com co-founder Bo Navarro in a statement. “Once she heard about the opportunity to participate in the San Francisco Giants’ Filipino Heritage Night, which is coordinated by the Filipino American Arts Exposition, she immediately booked her flight to San Francisco. Besides her family being supporters of the Giants, she understands how important it is for her to support the community, particularly her hometown.”
