Ryan Araña evoked such memories on Monday after Rain or Shine’s official Instagram account posted a video of him flying a kite or saranggola.
In the video, Araña took the #StayAtHomeChallenge in response to the coronavirus outbreak by flying a kite on the roof deck of his home with his child looking on.
If you’re a ‘Batang '80s’ or ‘Batang '90s,’ Araña’s video is quite refreshing especially with the advent of technology and kite-flying seen as a dying tradition.
