FANS OF RIOT GAMES' League of Legends are now hyped up for 2024 given the recent announcements that will rattle the Rift.
A new champion will emerge in the game as Noxian warlord, Ambessa Medarda will make her debut this year. Medarda first appeared in Netflix's Arcane series as Mel's estranged mother.
And speaking about Arcane, a first look trailer was revealed for Season 2, where new characters could be introduced. From the silhouettes, it can be argued that Singed and Warwick would make their appearance.
In the game's lore, Warwick was once a human being, who worked as a Zaunite gangster. Eventually he decided to retire from his criminal duties.
Unfortunately he was captured and experimented by Singed, which led to his transformation to a blood thirsty lycan.
Due to his backstory, fans have linked Arcane's Vander as Warwick. Is this really the case? We'll just have to wait for the series' release, on November of this year.
While these announcements have truly brought smiles to the League of Legends community, there are still a plethora of surprises that Riot Games has to offer.
Take for instance the cinematic for the upcoming 2024 competitive/ranked season. The teaser might've hinted of Kindred's impact in the upcoming cinematic video.
