RENREN Ritualo is teaming up once again with Don Allado and Francis Zamora, but this time, in the political arena.
Ritualo will be running for councilor in San Juan's first district city in the 2025 midterm elections as part of the ticket of Mayor Zamora, who is seeking reelection.
Zamora announced on his social media accounts that he will be filing his certificate of candidacy on Tuesday along with the members of his ticket that includes Ritualo and Allado, who will be seeking a fresh term as councilor, also of the first district.

Joining them is Ritualo, a former teammate of Zamora and Allado during their college basketball days with La Salle.
The three won two championships together in 1998 and 1999, the first two of the Green Archers’ four-peat in the UAAP, with Allado winning the MVP on both occasions.
It will be the first time that Ritualo is seeking public office, although he has been San Juan’s sports director prior to running as councilor.
Ritualo will also be in the same ticket as James Yap, who is also seeking reelection in the second district of San Juan. Throughout their playing careers, Ritualo and Yap became known for their ability to hit the three-point shot.

Another former UE player, Paul Artadi, has already reached the three-term limit as San Juan councilor.
