EARLIER this year, University of Santo Tomas former head coach Aldin Ayo announced that PBA big man Beau Belga was set to join his coaching staff in Growling Tigers.
The 33-year-old Rain or Shine bruiser would have been of big help to the team’s bigger players.
This plan, however, will no longer happen after Ayo had resigned from his position following the España-based squad’s Bicol bubble issue, which also has so far led to the departure of its five players.
It could have been Belga’s first coaching gig, aiding his fellow Sorsogon native. But he admitted to SPIN Life that that's no longer happening now.
The professional league has already been given the green light to resume its practices. So far, the Elastopainters have been training in batches at the Reyes Gym in Mandaluyong City.
