COMMEMORATIVE stamps in honor of the frontliners against COVID-19 were launched by the Philippine Postal Corporation on Monday.

Rodine Teodoro, head of the Philpost creative team, designed the stamps featuring doctors, nurses, soldiers and policemen wearing masks and identified as heroes in the fight against the virus.

“Ever since, ‘yung stamps natin is all about history, culture, and arts. Finefeature natin ‘yung mga national heroes natin at mga taong nagbibigay ng danggal sa bansa. It’s only fitting na ‘yung mga frontliners na mga modern day super heroes natin dapat lang na i-honor natin sila,” said the 31-year-old Teodoro.

Teodoro has been designing stamps for five years.

Philpost has printed 200,000 copies of the stamps, along with 5,000 copies of souvenir sheet stamps. With Jerome Ascano.
