THE PBA achieved a record feat on Father’s Day when it collected a total of 184 bags of blood during its annual blood donation drive at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The total number of bags represented the number of persons who qualified to donate blood for a cause in line with the league’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project through the Alagang PBA program.

The turnout was the biggest number of blood bags ever amassed in the four-year holding of the Alagang PBA: Blood Donation Project being held in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross and Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Commissioner Willie Marcial was among the blood donors along with Rain or Shine rookie Javee Mocon, and our very own SPIN.ph assistant managing editor Karlo Sacamos.
