AVIOR Talent Management and Simple Grind will start off its Manager’s Basketball Training Camp with its Quezon City tour on June 10 and 11 at the Victoria Sports Tower in Quezon City.
Nicolo Chua of Simple Grind and Jonathan Grey will serve as resident coaches and speakers in the camp for beginners and advanced male and female players aged 8 to 19 years old.

Avior talents Paul Lee of Magnolia and Scottie Thompson of Barangay Ginebra are also taking part as guest coach and speaker.
Avior Talent Management talent manager Stanley Santos said the Quezon City tour will be the first of several stops all around the country.
Avior started with a camp in volleyball through Avior talent Rachel Ann Daquis, and it will be the first time that it ventures in basketball.
“I’ve seen a lot of talents along the different parts of the country. Marami palang magaling but wala silang access. They know how to play but nakikita ko kasi na wala silang platform at walang bridge na magko-connect sila into playing in professional or collegiate leagues.”
After the Quezon City leg, camps will also be held in Binan, Malolos City, Clark, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu, and Davao.
Chua said the vision of the camp is to eventually discover new talents.
“Basically, mag-iikot kami sa whole Philippines para gumawa ng camp. This is probably the biggest basketball camp na talagang iikutin ‘yung buong bansa,” said Chua.
“This won’t just be a basketball camp. We plan to create some sort of an all-star game para ma-expose ‘yung talents nila, and try to bring the coaches in para mapanood nila ‘yung mga bata na may chance dito sa Manila,” said Chua.
“Gusto naming madala ‘yung camps sa different locations in the Philippines and different cities na walang organized camps. We decided to partner with Simple Grind,” said Santos.
