Mackenyu Arata, the actor who brought to life the character of Roronoa Zoro in the eagerly awaited Netflix live-action series One Piece, is gearing up for a special visit to the Philippines to appear at Manila Pop Culture Convention (ManiPopCon), slated for November 2023.

News of Mackenyu's visit has stirred a frenzy as his portrayal of Roronoa Zoro, one of the central characters in the One Piece, has won over millions of anime fans. Prior to One Piece, Arata appeared in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Tokyo Ghoul S, and Knights of the Zodiac.
ManiPopCon, a gathering of pop culture aficionados from across the nation, will feature an array of activities and attractions, from panel discussions and cosplay competitions to merchandise booths and exclusive celebrity meet-and-greets-one of which will be Zoro himself, in the flesh.
Entrance to ManiPopCon is free, but organizers anticipate huge crowds. For those who won't be able to attend in person, the convention organizers have planned a live stream of Mackenyu's panel discussions and other highlights.
Mark your calendars for November 17 to 19. As the countdown to Mackenyu's visit begins, fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to see the man who did Zoro justice.
