THE season finally over for NorthPort, Ryan Arana, Jonathan Grey, and Jeric Teng went to a Halloween party on Sunday night wearing Netflix-inspired costumes.
The Batang Pier trio arrived at the Smart Araneta Coliseum for their PBA Governors Cup game against Alaska wearing all-red mechanic jumpsuits with hood paired with corresponding latex mask similar to the one seen in the television series ‘Money Heist.’
Arana said they are all fans of the Spanish heist series that revolves around a mysterious man known as ‘The Professor’ who planned the biggest bank heist in history with the goal of entering the Royal Mint of Spain behind a well-trained team of robbers.
It stars Spanish actresses Ursula Corbero and Itziar Ituno, and Alvaro Morte as ‘The Professor.’
“Pare-pareho kaming nanonood nung series,” said Arana after the Batang Pier’s 95-85 loss to the Aces at the Smart Araneta Coliseum to conclude their season campaign.
Arana said it was his wife who brought the costume for him to wear.
“Pero nung nakita nila (Grey and Teng), nagustuhan din nila kaya bumili nakaming tatlo.”
The three NorthPort players were no longer in their Halloween get-up upon leaving the Big Dome, although Arana said they are actually proceeding to a Halloween party at BGC wearing the same attire.
“Yun din ang isusuot namin doon,” said Arana.
