PREMIER NBA channels Basketball TV and NBA Premium are back on SKYcable's channel lineup, according to an advisory issued by the company on New Year’s Day.
In an advisory shared by the cable television provider's website as well as its social media accounts, SKYcable said Solar Entertainment-owned channels Basketball TV, NBA Premium, as well as Solar Sports and Jack TV have been reactivated on its service starting on Tuesday.
“We are pleased to announce good news to kick off our 2019. Effective January 1, 2019, the Solar channels – NBA Premium, BTV, Solar Sports, and Jack TV – will be reactivated on SKYcable.
“SKY subscribers can now enjoy the NBA games and related content on NBA Premium TV and BTV channels, along with other Solar channels, Jack TV and Solar Sports. We welcome this development and thank our subscribers for their patience and continued patronage,” said the company in a statement.
SKYcable also said NBA Premium, a channel that requires an additional fee, will be seen for free by all subscribers in the first half of January.
“NBA Premium (SD and HD) will be on Free View for 15 days available to ALL subscribers on Cable from January 1-15, 2019,” the company added.
In 2017, Solar Entertainment pulled out the two basketball channels reportedly due to unpaid carriage fees by SKYcable which it claimed reached P321 million.
The two channels were reinstated to SKYcable's channel lineup last October but were inexplicably removed again.
