AS A YouTube commenter put it: “Manny: Earn [a] million pesos a day. Michael: Earn [a] million views in just one day.”
Rapper Michael Pacquiao — second eldest son of boxing legend Manny — appeared on the Wish Bus, radio station Wish 107.5’s show for live music, rapping his song “Hate.”
Sample lyrics?
I don't wanna be with you, no way
Have respect for who I am
Saying no to someone that plays
Gotta shut down all of this hate
The video premiered yesterday, but as of posting, it already has 1.5 million views.
Very early this morning, the younger Pacquiao tweeted: “[M]y performance on [W]ish is up. [W]as super shy but it was a dream come true, shoutout to everyone supporting me.”
“Hate” is a track from his album Dreams, which you can stream now on Spotify.
His “Pac-Man” collaboration with Michael Bars, however, isn’t part of the album. Team Pacquiao recently released a music video of the song, pairing father’s footage and son’s jams into one uplifting vid.
Maybe soon he should start calling himself MC Pac soon.
