THE Philippines has fielded Team Pilipinas in almost every competition imaginable, but this lineup might be one of its oddest yet.

In Netflix’s Physical: 100 Asia, a brutal reality contest that pushes human strength, endurance, and willpower to their limits, seven Filipinos from wildly different backgrounds unite under one flag, with camaraderie crossing the boundaries of their respective disciplines.

The spin-off from Korea's popular Physical 100 show began streaming on Netflix last October 28, bringing together the region’s toughest athletes, military men, and celebrities in a grueling test of physical strength and mental fortitude.

With challenges that feel straight out of a sports lab and a survival game combined, it’s not just about muscle —it’s about who can adapt, endure, and outthink the opposition.

Meet Team Philippines

The face of the team, boxing legend, Manny Pacquiao, needs no introduction. Even in retirement, Pacquiao’s competitive fire burns bright — though he bows out after four episodes, his presence set the tone.

MMA fighter and former UFC campainger Mark Striegl enters the arena with a fighter’s instinct. His decades of discipline and combat training make him lethal in terms of both power and patience.
