YES, we heard it.

Michael Pacquiao, the son of eight division boxing world champion Manny Pacquiao, accomplished quite a feat with his Wish 107.5 live performance, racking up 1.5 million views in YouTube just one day.

And boy, the kid was spitting out some bars as he showed his rap skills in his performance of "Hate," one of the 11 tracks from his album Dreams, which can now be streamed on Spotify.

Take it from us: Michael is truly legit.

However, he still is yet to hold a candle to his father.

Back in the day, the elder Pacquiao wasn't shy in tooting those pipes. He didn't just hold concerts or release singles. He also released albums of his own.

In 2006, Manny released his first album Laban Nating Lahat Ito, with songs written in Filipino by novelty songwriter and close friend Lito Camo and produced under Star Records.

His first single, "Para Sa 'Yo ang Laban Na 'To", was routinely performed in Pacquiao's television guestings and even had a music video made for it.

But it was his other songs which he used as his entrance music for his fights.

"Laban Nating Lahat Ito," which had late rap artist Francis Magalona in a featuring role, blasted on the Thomas & Mack Center speakers when Pacquiao fought Erik Morales for a third time in November 2006.

Pacquiao also used "Lalaban Ako" for his fights against Jorge Solis in April 2007 and in his second bout against Marco Antonio Barrera in October that year.

Curiously, Pacquiao also used a remastered version of this song for his mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May 2015.

And in Pacquiao's scintillating second round knockout win over Ricky Hatton in May 2009, he played "Lahing Pinoy" as his entrance theme.

Aside from those instances, the Filipino fighter has walked out to AC/DC's "Thunderstruck," Katy Perry's "Roar," and Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger."

Whether it was from Manny's charisma or the nationalistic fervor inspired by these aforementioned songs, the album Laban Nating Lahat Ito reached platinum status and sold over 15,000 copies in 2006.

Pacquiao released his second album Pac-Man Punch the following year under MCA Records, although the four tracks were just different versions of the Willie Wilcox and Nemesis Yankee song.

Although that attempt fell flat, his next single was an absolute hit.

After his 2009 guesting on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, which was Pacquiao's first American late night TV guesting, Pacquiao released a cover of Dan Hill's "Sometimes When We Touch" in 2011.

That song reached no. 19 in the Billboard Adult Contemporary top 20 list.

Pacquiao's third and last album was an EP version of his first one, but with the title Lalaban Ako Para Sa Pilipino and produced under GMA Records.

The only new song in the four-track album was "Team Pacquiao" which featured rapper Gloc 9.

Manny has since announced that he's retiring from his singing career, although we won't mind if we see him do a collab with his son Michael.
