COFFEE SHOPS can be the perfect place to study, work, or catchup with friends, due its serene and minimalist setting, combined with the adrenaline rush caused by caffeine products, and this overall atmosphere has been a common trend in the industry.
But can you imagine a coffee shop that doesn't boast the traditional interior decors, in favor of...construction site items?
Take a look at Resonate Hardware & Coffee Supplies.
This coffee shop in Katipunan has been making waves for its unique 'estetik' that has produced some memes for the community, especially a wall featuring both the time zones of Katipunan and Marikina. Is there really a difference?
Then when looking at the furnitures of this shop, it doesn't showcase some highend quality as they are literally the tables that you would normally see in construction sites or a karinderya. Heck there are even bags of cement underneath these tables, which may have been used for the foundation.
SPIN.ph even asked some of the baristas as to why the coffee shop opted for this vibe to which they replied that the owner wanted to stand out and be unique compared to its competitors, which even translated to their coffee products, that offers a variety of succulence.

With such a vibe, one doesn't need to pressure themselves of dressing good, however this doesn't mean that the shop won't give you the best meals.
Just take a look at their food and beverages.

Looks appetizing right? For those who wish to visit their shop, Resonate Coffee is located in 113 Bayan-Bayanan Ave. cor. Dao St., Marikina, and 2nd Floor / 318 Katipunan Ave. Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
