LeBron remembers pivotal 2012 Celtics-Heat game in Apple TV+ series ‘Greatness Code’

A LITTLE more than eight years ago, a pre-Lakers LeBron James had one of the biggest nights of his career, scoring 45 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists in a Game 6 Eastern Conference matchup against the Boston Celtics.

The pivotal win in a hard-fought series, LeBron’s Heat would escape elimination in Boston’s turf, and would later be crowned overall champions when they roundly defeated the OKC Thunder in a lopsided 4-1 faceoff.

But as James recalled in a trailer for a newly announced sports documentary series: “For this one time, when I went to Boston for this game six, I felt absolutely nothing.”

Later on in the trailer, he chuckled, “I wish I could bottle ‘nothing’ up, I’ll tell you that.”

Greatness Code, which will air on streaming service Apple TV Plus, is a short form documentary series that interviews athletes on pivotal moments in their career.

Aside from James, other athletes featured are Tom Brady (most likely reminiscing about his time in the Patriots), Alex Morgan of the US women’s national team in soccer, sprinter Usain Bolt, surfer Kelly Slater, and snowboarder Shaun White.

It will begin airing on Apple TV Plus on July 10. The streaming service costs P249 a month, and is free for one year when you buy an Apple device.
