This concept was explored in the latest episode of 'Pusuan or Laruan with Marion Aunor' where there were two individuals who expressed their love for basketball.
"Diba nagba-basketball ka? Nanonood ka ba ng NBA? Sino favorite mo or GOAT mo?" asked a guy named Austyne to a girl named Elaine.
Elaine's response?
"Mga kamag-anak ko is from LA so Los Angeles Lakers. Then favorite player...LeBron James!"
Steph Curry the GOAT?
Immediately after, Austyne popped his balloon, signalling that he no longer has interest for Elaine.
Then when asked as to why he popped his balloon, he said: "My GOAT is Stephen Curry and I'm a Golden State Warriors fan and isa yun sa tingin ko na pwedeng umabot sa dealbreaker ko kasi talagang avid fan ako ni Steph Curry."
"When I heard LeBron, no, nah."
Removing the LeBron factor, would Austyne go out with her? According to Austyne, "Yeah she's ok I would go on a date with her."
After the conversation, Elaine performed LeBron's signature high knee celebration to which Austyne responded with Steph Curry's iconic 'go to sleep' action.
Elaine acknowledged that Austyne had a great sense of humor given the latter's knowledge of the 'What haffen Vela meme?'
And while Elaine and Austyne weren't able to match, the former managed to secure a date with another sexy single in Yves.
Ironically Elaine popped Yves' balloon at the beginning, but eventually he was given a 2nd chance.
