Lakers Twitter, like the LA squad itself, was merciless in Game 1

BY the fourth quarter, all Miami could do was to keep the score respectable.

The Lakers steamrolled the Heat, 116-98, in Game 1 of the 2020 Finals. Outside of a promising first quarter, all the Miami squad could do was to muster a painful performance — sometimes, literally, as two of their starters, Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo, were hit with injuries and had to leave Game 1.

With a scoreboard like that and the fate of their two biggest stars in question, it’s going to be an uphill climb for the Heat.

On Twitter, the Lakers trended with almost half a million tweets even before the game was over. ‘Bron’, ‘Dwight’, and ‘Rondo’ also made it to the trending list. From the opposition, ‘Butler’ and ‘Herro’ also trended.
