The wild Joel Embiid-Karl-Anthony Towns scuffle that saw benches clear and both players get ejected has spilled on social media.

After the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 117-95, all NBA Twitter could talk about was the extra-physicality exchange between the two franchise big men. It didn't help that Embiid and teammate Ben Simmons were spotted poking Towns in the eye and putting in a chokehold, respectively.

The story didn't end on the court, unfortunately.

The Philadelphia superstar was back to his old trolling ways, giving KAT, his mom, and their former teammate, Jimmy Butler, shout-outs online. Just like in his NSFW postgame interview, Joel once again quoted fellow Sixer Mike Scott:

Not to be outdone, the Minnesota star mocked his rival's caption with a series of action shots, which culminates in the viral screenshot of the latter sobbing after losing to the Toronto Raptors in the second round of this year's playoffs.

Embiid claimed to having replied to Towns' Instagram post, using the Crying JoJo meme against the Wolves center to highlight his foe's postseason woes. He also called KAT out for supposedly deleting or hiding his comment.

The 2016 Rookie of the Year has yet to respond to Joel, but it appears that the two-time All-NBA Second Team member has set his sights on something more important.
