KAI Sotto is not yet done with his growth spurt.
The 17-year-old prodigy has apparently grown another inch, according to an Instagram post by East WestPrivate, the sports agency that handles Sotto.
Sotto, listed at 7’1” in the Fiba website and 7’2” in local basketball circles, was taller by an inch when measured upon his return to the US after suiting up for the Gilas Pilipinas Youth team in the Fiba Under-19 World Cup in Greece.
The UAAP Juniors MVP is set to resume his individual training in preparation for his bid to become the first homegrown Filipino to make it to the NBA.
The agency said the teen prodigy is focusing on "building his body up, building his strength and focusing on areas like speed, agility, stamina which we identified were all the priority improvement areas after his U19 stint."
