DOES Miami Heat's dynamic rookie Tyler Herro bear any resemblance to NorthPort's own super-rookie Robert Bolick?
Sol Mercado thinks so.
After Herro scored a Heat rookie record of 37 points in the 112-109 victory over the Boston Celtics to give the Heat a commanding 3-1 lead in the Easter Conference finals, the PBA veteran free agent fired this tweet.
Bolick was totally amused, responding to the Sol Train's post with this tweet:
Sought for comment later, Bolick couldn't hide his admiration for the 20-year old who is making quite an impact in his first postseason appeance with the Heat.
"Maganda talaga, sobra. [Si] Herro, isa na siya sa tinitignan ko, smooth laro grabe," he shared in a chat with SPIN Life.
Bolick, of course, also had a sensational rookie season in the PBA with NorthPort that earned him a call-up to the Gilas Pilipinas side to the 2019 Fiba World Cup.
Asked to compare himself to Herro, the former San Beda only had this to say.
"Mas pogi ako syempre, wala siyang stache eh."
