HIS last game with the University of the Philippines may not have gone like he imagined, but Jun Manzo wouldn't have it any other way.
The senior guard, considered one of the key players for the UP Fighting Maroons, fouled himself out of the game for teammate Bright Akhuetie. UP was leading by four points, 63-59, when Manzo committed the foul with 2:33 minutes left in the game.
He confessed he wasn't aware at the time that it was already his fifth.
Despite UST's victory, 68-65, Manzo delivered 12 points and five rebounds for the Fighting Maroons before the incident.
And while he won't be suiting up anymore for the Diliman-based squad, he believes they're capable of giving more in the near future.
Sana ituloy nila yung winning mindset and attitude nila and magpatuloy pa rin yung pagpasok nila sa final four," he added.
