ON their family vlog, Alab Pilipinas coach Jimmy Alapag and his wife LJ Moreno announced sad news: LJ Moreno had miscarried.
On August 6, Alapag and Moreno had announced that they were pregnant. Last week, the two scheduled a visit to the doctor. But during that appointment, they could not hear her baby’s heartbeat.
“We were supposed to hear the heartbeat that appointment, but we couldn’t find one,” Moreno said on the vlog. Their doctor told them that it could possibly be too early.
“I went back for my next [medical] appointment, hoping na we could hear na the heartbeat. Unfortunately, we still couldn't," she said.
By the third appointment, her miscarriage was confirmed.
“We found out na wala na talaga,” she said.
On the vlog, Alapag also shared that Moreno had suffered some complications when she was carrying Calen Asher, who is now almost three years old.
For now, he's focused on taking care of both his wife and his kids.
“As disappointing as it is, my main concern was making sure LJ was okay and having to tell the kids,” said the 42-year-old coach.
The two related that their eldest, Ian, broke down with the news.
Alapag continued: “In God's time, if he feels that it's right for us to have an addition to our family, then it'll happen again."
Jimmy and LJ have three kids: Ian Maximus, Keona Skye, and Calen.
