James Yap files COC for councilor in San Juan
Oct 5, 2021

JAMES Yap has filed his certificate of candidacy for councilor for the first district of San Juan.

Yap is running as part of the ticket led by incumbent mayor Francis Zamora and vice mayor Warren Villa.

Incidentally, Yap will run for a seat in the San Juan council alongside incumbent councilor Paul Artadi, his former teammate at Purefoods.

Don Allado, another former teammate of Yap with Purefoods, is also running for a seat in the San Juan but in the second district.

The 39-year-old Yap is set to enter politics just a week after his campaign with Rain or Shine in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup came to an end with a quarterfinal defeat against Magnolia.
