TNT may have started out the first quarter rusty, but both the Aces and Tropang Giga went toe-to-toe for a solid matchup in the first ever game inside the PBA bubble. Roger Pogoy and Jayson Castro led the way for TNT, who overcame Alaska, 100-95.
It augurs well for the league’s restarted season.
On Facebook, where the game was streamed live on the OneSports page, fans held steady at 32,000 active viewers by the second and third quarters. At the closing seconds of the final frame, viewers hit more than 60,000 concurrents.
The stream hit 10 thousand reactions with 5.9 thousand comments, and at three minutes left in the fourth quarter, was shared 2.5 thousand times.
On Twitter, the hashtag #PBABubble briefly made it to the social network's trending charts. It was a gold mine of reactions, especially for Pogoy and Castro.
