ASIDE from the PBA delegation, there will also be a number of essential personnel that will also take part in the bubble in Clark, Pampanga.
Clark Development Corporation president Noel Manankil said persons such as hotel employees, bus drivers, and security staff are included in the PBA bubble and they will also undergo stringent protocols just like the league’s delegation.
Manankil also said that personnel, just like the PBA players, coaches, and staff, will not be allowed to go out of the bubble.
“Basta lahat ng papasok sa bubble, kasama po ‘yung mga support staff ng hotel, same protocols ng entry ng mga players natin. Maha-house din sila sa loob ng bubble katulad ng mga players. Walang lalabas sa bubble,” said Manankil.
The PBA said there will be 350 delegates – 300 of which from the 12 teams – that will take part in the bubble. It is not yet clear how many essential personnel from Clark will be part of the bubble.
The PBA delegates will be housed at the Quest Hotel in Mimosa but will have to travel to the Angeles University Foundation gym, situated, technically, outside the actual Clark Freeport Zone, for the games.

Bases Conversion Development Corporation president Vince Dizon said the AUF gym will also enforce strict protocols.
“Each team will have their individual buses. All the buses will be part of the bubble. They will be properly secured, disinfected, and, at the same time, even the drivers will be tested and subjected to the same protocols of the bubble,” said Dizon.
“If you can just imagine, para tayong may tunnel between Quest Mimosa and AUF. All the movements there will be part of the bubble,” he added.
