WHEN IT WAS ANNOUNCED that John Paul "H2wo" Salonga and Mika Salamanca would become a couple, the term MiWo was formed. Fans started supporting their ventures, making them one of the most iconic couples in the MLBB scene.
However two days ago, both Mika Salamanca and H2wo confirmed their breakup. They even published a video stating: "Hindi nag-grow yung relationship namin, pero nag-grow tayo diba?"
Mika even asked H2wo: "Do you think we're toxic?" To which H2wo replied: "Hindi naman," carrying a smile on his face.
The video may seem like the two of them are in good terms and it was mentioned that both were able to explore a lot of options together, however some fans criticized their relationship, citing a lack of sincerity or effort, while there were those who created rumors surrounding it.
Eventually, H2wo's manager had enough and started explaining what exactly happened from behind the scenes. His post was shared by both H2wo and Mika Salamanca on their respective social media pages.

Why MiWo brokeup?
According to him, the cracks started a year ago.
"To clear things out, Mika and H2WO broke up around a month ago. They started talking about breaking up about a year ago but they gave each other more time to sort things out," he revealed on a Facebook post.
Eventually he clarified his work, which involved both H2wo and Mika.
"I’m H2WO’s manager which means I handle all brand negotiations, contract negotiations, and all communications between H2WO and agencies/brands. Even content creation andiyan ako," he mentioned.
He added: "With Mika naman, I used to handle her before. Now may new agency na siya but we still have existing contracts and projects na ongoing and I still handle those. Even the Japan trip that’s being blamed for the breakup, was a work trip."

Not all breakups need to involve issues
As he went on with his post, he explained the nature of breakups, debunking the negative stigmas surrounding it.
"I know some of you guys find it hard to comprehend that some breakups are mutual and the people involved are on good terms pero that’s the reality of it."
"Not all breakups need to have cheating issues involved or anything dramatic. This was a mutual decision by both parties and they’ve thought about this for almost a year."
In the end, he hoped that the community would see the other side of their relationship.
"What they had was precious and I’m glad I got to be part of something so magical. They have something special that even breakups won’t break."
"To all the MiWo supporters, I genuinely thank you for all the love and support you’ve given the two."
"I hope that as they end this chapter of their lives, they’ll have the peace of mind they so clearly deserve."
