HATERS won't stop Grethcel Soltones from living life the way she wants to.
The past few weeks have been difficult for the PLDT star, who has been on the receiving end of social media bashing. Her critics would insult her physical appearance, with some even telling her she's not pretty.
Soltones knows that's just part of being a prominent sports personality and she isn't the only one going through it. "Kahit anong gawin naming mga players, mali talaga sa paningin nila [bashers]," she said.
She would sometimes engage her bashers and even like their tweets to show them that she's not one to back down. Others are just too much to handle and get automatically blocked from her social media accounts.
The former NCAA MVP out of San Sebastian did a poll on Twitter recently and asked her followers if she should try vlogging or not. Sixty five percent or 876 of the 1,347 respondents voted NO, which haters saw as a chance to attack Soltones yet again.
Amid the negativity, she remained undaunted.
