Ginebra’s One Gin Nation campaign racks up 15 million views in just 10 days

YOU may have already seen this video on your Facebook feeds or YouTube video-watching breaks.

It’s an inspiring look at how Filipinos can come together in the new normal, featuring — at least in a few frames — the special frontliner tribute bottle produced by Ginebra.

The storylines featured in the video were inspired by real life events. In early August, for example, the Mindanao Development Authority awarded a grant to a farmers' association in Mindanao that produced bamboo face shields; it's almost certainly the inspiration behind the face shields segment in the Ginebra video.

Ten days after it was first released, the “One Gin Nation” campaign racked up more than 15 million views, according to statistics released by Ginebra San Miguel.

This includes 1.9 million combined views on YouTube, and 13.3 million combined views on Facebook.

Ginebra ascribes the video’s success to its inspiring message of unity in the middle of the pandemic. “It is the unity among us that will help us as a nation overcome challenges in this new normal,” the brand said in a statement.
