Feb 21, 2014

A FUN run is set to commemorate the life and the music of the late Francis Magalona on the fifth death anniversary of the actor-musician.

Scheduled on March 30 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila, the “Remembering FrancisM- Isang Umaga, Isang Takbo, Isang Alaala” run falls on the same month the 'Master Rapper' made his final adieu.

'Kiko' Magalona was 44 years old when he succumbed to complications resulting from acute myeloid leukemia five years ago.

RUNtarantantan said it organized the fun run to relive the music and to remember the legacy of Magalona, who is widely credited for popularizing rap and hip hop in local shores.
