ALMOST a decade had passed since Allein Maliksi played college ball at University of Santo Tomas, but he still treasures the memories.

Maliksi, who rose from the slums of Manila to become one of the best success stories in the PBA, reminisced on his time at UST's Espana campus at a time when the Tigers are embroiled in controversy over their bubble training in Sorsogon.

“Scholarship at makalaro lang, all good na kami. Basta makalaro lang at maka-graduate, ayos na. Ayon madami ako natutunan at naabot ko PBA dream ko,” the Meralco Bolts standout shared on Thursday afternoon on his Facebook page.

The 6-foot-3 former Tiger revealed ballers had a less complicated life back in their day.
