FOR the first time in nearly 17 years, the Sacramento Kings won an NBA playoff game after a Game One thriller at home against the reigning champions Golden State Warriors, 126-123.

The Kings bucked a slow start to make the most of their home opener, with postseason debutants De'Aaron Fox and Malik Monk combining for 70 big points to take the 1-0 edge in the best-of-seven series.
