SO much for a vacation.
THE family of volleyball star Deanna Wong shared their anxiety as several fans camped out outside the vacationing spiker's home on a Good Friday.
Her mother, Judin Alvizo-Wong, shared a video of the situation outside their house in Cebu in a Facebook post, expressing uneasiness.
'We can't even go to church'
"Unsaon namug gawas pag adto sa simbahan kung ing ani kadaghan nag atang pirmi sa gate? Ang uban gikan pag mindanao ug other parts of the visayas.. uban alas sais pa sa buntag," Alvizo-Wong said on Friday afternoon.
["How do we go out to go to church when we have this many people waiting at our gate? Some even came from Mindanao and other parts of the Visayas... Some have been there since 6 a.m."]
The Choco Mucho standout took a brief break from volleyball to spend the Holy Week in her hometown.
The video showed Wong waving back to fans who swarmed outside their home, their phone and cameras out waiting for a glimpse of the popular spiker.
When her mother's post went viral, volleyball personalities pleaded for some privacy for the Wongs.
'Deanna' was also quick to make it to the top Twitter trends that same day with over 9,000 tweets.
