You wouldn’t think a billionaire CEO of a tech company would engage in talks on social media, let alone with memes, and yet Elon Musk does just that every chance he gets. This is, after all, the wealthy businessman who one Friday afternoon, bought a meme website out of boredom.
To show everyone that he really does his own thing, the Tesla and SpaceX exec posted a meme on his Twitter—it’s no regular template meme either. It’s a collage of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s pictures, showing off his bulging muscles. What’s weird about that? Well, Dwayne had the face of Elon superimposed on him. Seriously, we can’t unsee it.
This came after Elon Musk co-hosted the popular YouTube star PewDiePie’s Meme Review, giving his takes on various memes (some about him) from the world wide web. Seriously, that happened, and Elon just became the coolest filthy rich man ever.
As you can see, one of his favorite memes from the video is of his face being put on rapper Post Malone’s head, resulting in Elon having face tattoos and wispy hair and beard. This is where he might’ve gotten the idea for his Dwayne “The Musk” Johnson meme.
But what makes the Elon/Rock photos impressively creepy is how close-to-perfect they are. At first glance, you may think you’re looking at normal images of The Rock and his abnormal body. Once you realize it’s the face of Elon Musk, you might assume that the Tesla CEO has upped his gym game a little too much far too quickly.
Musk seems to be taking his newfound status as memelord on a new unreachable level, and we’re all here for it. As a matter of fact, these other Elon Memes are, too.
