SAN Miguel power forward Christian Standhardinger took to the court Sunday night, not as basketball star but a judge in the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 pageant.
The Fil-German cager, who usually wears a pair of basketball jersey at the Big Dome, looked dashing in his all-black ensemble that matched his sleek ponytail.
In the question and answer portion, Standhardinger asked Cebuana candidate Samantha Ashley Lo: "What is your best non-physical asset and why do you say so?"
“I believe that my best non-physical asset could be your spirit," said the 26-year-old ESL instructor. "I believe that when we have a strong spirit, a strong aura, we shine from within.”
She added, to the delight of the crowd: “We spread it, it’s a beautiful butterfly effect and I continue to encourage everyone to have positivity and show love. There’s no need for negativity, there’s nothing productive about it.”
Lo was named Bb. Pilipinas-Grand International 2019 later in the evening.
