Wondering why Catriona Gray is not among PBA muses? Here's why

SORRY, PBA teams, but Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is ineligible to be a muse in the opening ceremony of the 44th season of the league.

Blackwater team governor Silliman Sy bared the team considered the idea of tapping Gray to become its muse as she is actually a model of the brand’s parent company, Ever Bilena.

However, Sy said Gray’s duties as Miss Universe made it impossible for her to do the role.

“She is actually our model but since she is owned by the Miss Universe, she becomes the property of Miss Universe,” said Sy.

Sy, though, said Blackwater is more than willing to get Gray as the team’s muse for the 2020 season of the PBA when her term as Miss Universe ends.

“Probably in Season 45,” said Sy.
